K. Guadalupe Cruz, a graduate student in the Sur Lab, has been selected for an Angus MacDonald Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching in recognition of her outstanding commitment to the undergraduate student body of the Brain and Cognitive Sciences Department.

K. Guadalupe Cruz was previously honored as one of the MIT Office of Graduate Education’s “Graduate Women of Excellence” in May of 2019. The honorees were selected due to their “…leadership and service contributions at the Institute, their dedication to mentoring, and their drive to make changes to improve the student experience.” (MIT Office of Graduate Education)

The Sur Lab is once again pleased to congratulate K. Guadalupe Cruz for the recognition of her efforts and dedication as a teacher and a mentor. Cruz, along with other recipients, will be acknowledged during a special seminar on Thursday, April 16th at 4:00 PM EST.
